Stay at Poona

At the invitation of justice Mahadeva Govind Ranade, Maharishi reached Poona and there, by his effective and fluent discourses against blind belief, idol worship and religious pomp and show there was much turmoil in poona. When Swamiji was to leave Poona, he was given a public farwell and was taken round the city in procession. Some persons against him, raised insulting slogans. But all this had no impact on Swamiji.
