Joshi Baba Amar Lal

When Swami Dayanand reached the ashram of Swami Virjanandji for study, the main problem was to arrange for his meals during study period in that time of famine. Joshi Baba AmarLal came forward and arrange for swamiji’s meal at his house. Swamiji remembered it with gratitude for the whole of his life.

Shri Devendra Nath Mukhopadhyaya, the author of Biography of Swami Dayanand has rightly remarked. “Amar Lal you deserve gratitude of the humanity at large, as whatever Swami Dayanand did in his life, your contribution had an important role.”
